I wrote diary in my teens.  But I was not a regular diarist and my entries were only some incidents and dreams,  which seemed of importance at the time.  I have a gift of seeing strange dreams and wrote about them in my diary.  I  love reading, telling and listening stories, which I have inherited from my parents and grandfather. My grandfather, Suprabhat Chaudhary was a writer,  poet and a great story teller and my parents were avid readers.

I started writing stories after my marriage. It  started from my love of telling stories. Two of my stories have been published in www.sulekha.com.  The characters and subjects of my stories are mainly Indians  and mostly women. I also love telling stories to children and have a few stories for them, although they are not published.
